This LEGO Education WeDo course introduces students to the exciting world of robotics, coding, and engineering through hands-on LEGO projects. Students will build interactive models using LEGO components, motors, and sensors, then program their creations using simple block-based coding.

Throughout the course, students will explore key STEM concepts such as input and output, motor control, sensor reactions, sequences, loops, events, and problem-solving. Each activity encourages students to experiment, test their ideas, identify problems, and improve their designs.

- Build simple LEGO mechanical and robotic models.
- Connect and use motors and sensors.
- Create programs using block-based coding.
- Use events, messages, loops, waits, and conditions.
- Control motor direction, speed, and timing.
- Use sensors to make projects react automatically.
- Understand basic concepts such as input, process, and output.
- Test, troubleshoot, and improve robotic projects.
- Develop teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

- No previous coding or robotics experience is required.
- Students should have basic computer or tablet skills.
- Students should attend sessions regularly and participate in hands-on activities.
- LEGO WeDo software/application should be installed on the device used during the course.
- Students may work individually or in small teams depending on kit availability.
