Technology Empowerment Center (“TEC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”)
govern your access to and use of the TEC website, learning platform, courses, educational resources, training
programs, consultations, institutional services, and other services made available by TEC.
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, purchasing or requesting a service, accessing TEC
learning materials, or otherwise using our website or platform, you agree to these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or services.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the applicable TEC services.
Technology Empowerment Center provides technology-focused educational programs, training, curriculum solutions,
learning-platform access, and related educational and institutional services.
TEC services may be offered to:

• Students
• Parents or guardians
• Teachers and instructors
• Schools and educational institutions
• Universities
• Organizations and NGOs
• Companies and professional teams
• Other approved partners or participants
Some services are available directly through the TEC website, while others are provided through customized quotations, proposals, licensing arrangements, institutional agreements, or separate contracts.
By using TEC's website or services, you confirm that:

• You agree to comply with these Terms.
• Information you provide to TEC is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You will use TEC services only for lawful and authorized purposes.
Where you use TEC services on behalf of a school, organization, company, or other entity, you confirm that you are authorized to act on behalf of that entity where such authorization is required.
TEC provides educational programs that may be used by children and students under the age of 18.
A minor's participation in TEC services may be arranged through:
• A school or educational institution
• A parent or legal guardian
• An organization responsible for the learner
• Another appropriately authorized party
Where consent or authorization from a parent, guardian, school, or institution is required by applicable law or the circumstances of the program, the responsible party must ensure that the appropriate authorization has been obtained.
Accounts created or managed as part of a school or institutional program may also be subject to requirements established by the relevant school or organization.
Information concerning children and students is handled in accordance with TEC's Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.
Certain TEC services require a user account.
When creating or using an account, you agree to:
• Provide accurate registration information.
• Maintain accurate account information where possible.
• Keep your password and account credentials confidential.
• Not allow unauthorized persons to use your account.
• Notify TEC if you believe your account has been compromised.
• Use only accounts that you are authorized to access.
Accounts are personal unless TEC has specifically created or approved another account structure for a school, organization, team, instructor, or administrator.
TEC may take reasonable measures to protect account security, including password resets, access restrictions, verification procedures, or temporary suspension where suspicious activity is detected.
Enrollment in a TEC course or program gives the learner a limited right to access the applicable educational materials during the access period associated with that course, program, subscription, license, or institutional agreement.
Unless TEC expressly states otherwise, course access is:
• Limited
• Non-exclusive
• Non-transferable
• Intended for the registered or authorized user
• Subject to the applicable course, subscription, or licensing conditions
Purchasing or receiving access to a course does not transfer ownership of TEC's educational content or intellectual property to the learner.
Access periods may differ between courses and programs.
TEC may offer:
• Self-paced learning
• Instructor-supported learning
• Scheduled training
• School-based programs
• Institutional learning access
• Annual licensing
• Customized learning programs
The specific conditions shown for the relevant course or contained in an institutional agreement will apply in addition to these Terms.
TEC works with schools, educational institutions, organizations, and companies under customized arrangements.
Such arrangements may include:
• Curriculum licensing
• Student LMS access
• Teacher or instructor training
• Professional development
• Curriculum design
• Technology implementation
• Technical support
• Equipment or lab services
• Consultation
• Customized programs
• Program follow-up
• Certificates
• Other agreed services
A separate quotation, proposal, purchase order, service agreement, licensing agreement, or contract may establish additional conditions relating to:
• Number of learners
• License duration
• Fees
• Payment schedules
• Program delivery
• Equipment
• Intellectual-property rights
• Training schedules
• Support
• Renewals
• Cancellation
• Implementation
• Responsibilities of each party
Where a separately signed agreement between TEC and an institution conflicts with these general Terms regarding the contracted service, the specifically agreed written terms will take precedence for that service.
Prices may vary depending on the selected course, program, service, number of learners, license type, implementation requirements, equipment requirements, or institutional package.
Before entering into a paid arrangement, TEC will provide or confirm the applicable pricing through the website, quotation, proposal, invoice, contract, or other appropriate communication.
You agree to pay applicable charges according to the payment terms communicated for your purchase or service.
Payment methods may differ according to the course, program, or institutional arrangement.
Where a third-party payment provider is used, use of that payment service may also be subject to the provider's own terms and privacy practices.
Any applicable taxes, transaction charges, delivery costs, or additional fees should be identified where required before the relevant transaction is completed.
TEC may issue certificates for courses or programs that include certification upon successful completion of the applicable requirements.
Requirements may include:
• Completion of required lessons
• Completion of activities or projects
• Required attendance
• Assessments
• Assignments
• Other program-specific requirements
Certificate availability and requirements may differ by program.
TEC certificates represent completion or achievement within the relevant TEC program unless otherwise expressly stated.
A TEC certificate should not be interpreted as government accreditation, university credit, professional licensure, or third-party accreditation unless that status is expressly stated in writing for the specific program.
TEC may decline to issue, suspend, or revoke a certificate where there is reasonable evidence of:
• Fraud
• Impersonation
• Academic dishonesty
• Falsified completion records
• Serious violation of program requirements
TEC educational materials are designed to support learning and skills development.
Although TEC aims to provide accurate and useful educational content, learning materials may evolve as technologies, software, educational tools, or industry practices change.
Users should follow applicable instructor guidance and program instructions.
TEC does not guarantee that participation in a particular program will result in:
• Employment
• Admission to an educational institution
• A particular examination result
• Professional licensing
• A specific financial outcome
• Recognition by a particular third party
Any specific accreditation, certification, partnership, or recognition applicable to a particular program will be identified separately where appropriate.
Some TEC programs, learning activities, or services may involve artificial intelligence tools or AI-enabled features.
AI-generated information may occasionally contain errors, incomplete information, or inaccurate results.
Users should therefore use appropriate judgment and follow instructor or educator guidance when working with AI-generated information.
AI tools should be used as learning and support tools and should not be treated as a guaranteed source of factual, legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
Users must also follow TEC's rules concerning responsible, safe, honest, and appropriate use of artificial intelligence.
You agree not to misuse TEC's website, platform, courses, systems, or materials.
Prohibited activities include, without limitation:
• Attempting unauthorized access to TEC systems or accounts
• Sharing accounts without authorization
• Circumventing security or access controls
• Copying or redistributing protected course content without permission
• Reselling TEC content or account access
• Scraping or systematically downloading protected content without authorization
• Uploading malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
• Interfering with website or platform operation
• Impersonating another person
• Falsifying course completion or assessment results
• Using TEC services for unlawful activity
• Harassing or threatening other users
• Uploading content that infringes intellectual-property rights
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to student, instructor, or institutional information
• Using TEC services in a manner that could harm TEC, its users, partners, or systems
TEC may investigate suspected misuse and take reasonable action when necessary.
Learners are expected to complete required work honestly.
Unless an instructor or course specifically permits otherwise, users should not:
• Submit another person's work as their own
• Falsify participation or completion
• Falsify assessment results
• Use another learner's account
• Allow another person to complete required work on their behalf
• Use AI or other tools in a way that violates course instructions
TEC encourages the responsible use of technology as a learning aid rather than as a substitute for genuine participation and learning.
Unless otherwise stated, TEC owns or is authorized to use the intellectual property made available through its website, platform, courses, and services.
This may include:
• Curriculum materials
• Lesson plans
• Course structures
• Educational resources
• Videos
• Graphics
• Illustrations
• Assessments
• Projects
• Training materials
• Documents
• Website content
• Software configurations
• Branding
• Logos
• Designs
• Program materials
These materials may be protected by applicable copyright, trademark, contractual, and intellectual-property laws.
Access to TEC materials does not transfer ownership to the user.

Where TEC allows users, instructors, institutions, or partners to upload or submit content, the person submitting that material is responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights to use and share it.
You should not upload material that:
• Violates another person's copyright or intellectual-property rights
• Contains unlawful content
• Violates privacy rights
• Contains malicious software
• Is intentionally harmful or deceptive
Where content is submitted as part of an instructor, institutional, or partnership arrangement, ownership and usage rights may also be governed by a separate written agreement.
Where TEC provides, supplies, sells, lends, installs, or facilitates equipment or physical products, additional terms may apply.
These may address:

• Installation
• Warranty
• Maintenance
• Acceptable use
• Damage or loss
• Return requirements
• Transfer of ownership
• Technical support
The applicable quotation, invoice, agreement, warranty, or service contract will govern those matters.
Users and institutions must follow appropriate manufacturer instructions and safety requirements when using equipment.
TEC may use or provide links to third-party platforms, software, websites, educational tools, video services, payment providers, or other external services.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies, and availability.
TEC is not responsible for independent third-party services that it does not control.
The inclusion of a third-party link or integration does not necessarily mean TEC controls or guarantees that third party's service.
Use of TEC's website and services is also subject to the TEC Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how TEC may collect, use, store, and handle personal information.
By creating an account or using applicable TEC services, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

Where a material change affects a separately contracted institutional service, the applicable agreement will govern TEC's obligations
TEC may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including where a user:
• Seriously or repeatedly violates these Terms
• Engages in fraudulent activity
• Attempts unauthorized system access
• Misuses TEC content
• Creates security risks
• Harasses other users
• Fails to satisfy applicable payment obligations
• Uses the service unlawfully
Where appropriate, TEC may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue before termination.
Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect users, student information, TEC systems, intellectual property, or platform security.
Termination does not automatically remove payment obligations or contractual obligations that arose before termination.
TEC aims to provide its website, platform, educational content, and services professionally and with reasonable care.
However, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TEC does not guarantee that:
• The website will always be uninterrupted or error-free
• Every third-party service will remain continuously available
• Every device or browser will remain compatible
• All educational information will remain current indefinitely
• Participation in a program will produce a particular personal, academic, professional, or commercial result
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TEC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising solely from use of or inability to use the website or learning platform where such liability may lawfully be limited.
TEC is not responsible for losses resulting from:
• A user's unauthorized sharing of account credentials
• Use of third-party websites or services outside TEC's control
• User misuse of learning materials or equipment
• Failure to follow safety instructions
• Events outside TEC's reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.
TEC will not be considered in breach of these Terms where performance is prevented or materially delayed by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include:

• Hosting or infrastructure failures

• Government restrictions
• Major security incidents
• Civil emergencies
• Power outages

• Other comparable events beyond reasonable control
For separately contracted programs, any specific force-majeure provisions contained in the relevant agreement will apply.
TEC may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:

• Changes to the website or learning platform
• New technologies
• New programs
• Security requirements
• Operational changes
• Legal or regulatory developments
The Last Updated date at the top of this page will indicate when the Terms were most recently revised.
Where a material change significantly affects existing users or services, TEC may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Changes to an already signed institutional agreement will be handled according to that agreement and will not automatically be replaced merely by changing these website Terms.
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Lebanese Republic, without limiting any mandatory rights that may apply to consumers under applicable law.
Any dispute relating to these Terms or TEC's services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Lebanese courts, unless a separately signed agreement or mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
Institutional agreements may contain their own dispute-resolution or jurisdiction provisions.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with the TEC Privacy Policy and any applicable course conditions, quotation, proposal, license, purchase order, or signed agreement, form the applicable terms governing the relevant service.
For institutional or customized services, the specific written agreement takes precedence where it expressly conflicts with these general website Terms.
